Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Best restaurant in Sardinia. As a kiwi Italian family, this has been one of the best foods and hospitality in our trip."
"This restaurant was a great find! The vibe is good and the food is delicious and the prices are truly reasonable. This evening we enjoyed pizzas, white wine and panna cotta but we will surely come back in the next days to try the grill. We wish you Sa Pintadera all the best"
"We came to this restaurant for dinner in October, and it was absolutely full — lots of families with kids and big groups enjoying their evening. Luckily, they managed to find us a table inside (it was too chilly to sit outdoors). The food was good, and the waiting time was reasonable considering how busy the place was. Two ladies were serving the whole room, and you could tell they were working really hard. We wanted to try something local, so we went for the Sardo menu: Gnocchi Sardi (Chiusoni) al Sugo di Pomodoro e Carne and Gallurese Soup. Both dishes were nice, though I can’t say I was blown away — perhaps Sardinian cuisine just isn’t my personal favorite. Still, it was clear the food was made with care and heart. Also ordered grilled veggies - it was delicious but not too many types of veggies - eggplant and zucchini. But cooked well. For dessert, we had the local specialty Seadas, which was delicious — crispy, cheesy, and perfectly paired with honey. The older lady who served it was incredibly sweet. She couldn’t find our table at first, so we had to wave her over; she laughed it off with a little joke in Italian and later surprised us with a complimentary treat — some amazing local cookies. Overall, it was a lovely experience! We also noticed how hard the pizzaiolo was working — the pizzas looked fantastic, and he kept the cooking area spotless even while making one pizza after another. Very impressive! We’ll definitely come back to try the pizza next time."
"I went there with my family several times, for both lunch and diner. One of the best pizzas I have ever had! Also the sardinian dishes were amazing! Luisa is really wellcoming and we felt so confortable there! Thank you"
"We have a good experience with our dinner. Spaghetti alle vongole and Frittura are special. Pizza is good too. The staff are cordially and friendly. The most I loved there is they have good music for everyone. We ate three times. I Highly recommended!"
"This family restaurant was a pleasure to visit. Family owned and with lots of passion for what they do. Summer is a great time to visit as like a lot of other businesses they are closed from October to April. Good selection of food at reasonable prices."
"We arrived and were told that the chef wasn't working today but they could offer the owners mum to cook for us all (a family of five adults and two kids). It turned out to be an amazing experience, best food and atmosphere of the holidays. Really nice kids playground outside. Would recommend!"
"We loved this place! The kids enjoyed the playground, the pizza and the pannacotta. And we had excellent sushi! They don’t have a lot of different choices because they don’t want to waste anything. They have an interesting view om how to run the restaurant that’s good for the environment. Great experience!"
